Got stress? Do you wish you could reduce it at work? Start by considering this story:
The Reverend Norman Vincent Peale once ran into a parishioner who looked terrible.
“What’s wrong?” he asked.
“Problems. I have SO many problems!” the man answered.
Peale nodded. “I’m sorry to hear that,” he said. “Would you like to meet some people who don’t have any problems?”
“Don’t have any problems! I’d pay good money to see that.”
“Well, I don’t want your money,” Peale said. “But if you want to pay for the privilege of meeting people who don’t have any problems, you can donate whatever you wanted to give me to your favorite charity.”
“It’s a deal!” the man said. “When?”
“Tomorrow,” Peale answered. “Meet me here tomorrow at the same time, and I’ll introduce you to some people who don’t have any problems.”
The next day, the man met Peale on the corner. And Peale walked him right over to the nearest cemetery. “None of these people has any problems,” Peale said. “So if you ever get to the point where you don’t have any, you’d better get down on your knees and say, ‘what’s the matter, God? Don’t you trust me any more?'”
The fact is, most of us have too many problems and stress, and more seems to be piled on all the time. There are three simple reasons for this:
To make matters worse, our stress is compounded by the fact that now we’re highly aware of everyone else’s stress, thanks to social media. So it feels like it’s everywhere, all the time.
But there are Fullistic® ways to reduce stress, which blocks the free flow of energy to and through us. Fullistic® techniques are designed to help you feel better mentally and emotionally, which, in turn, helps you feel better physically. When you’re not tired, in pain or feeling like you’re caught in a fog, things unfold naturally, with far less effort. When this happens, we call it a “good day” because things tend to go our way, but the truth is that we’re simply no longer resisting or ignoring the resources that are waiting for us. Try these simple tactics and see for yourself:
The result of doing any or all of the above is that you’re going to feel a lot better physically and mentally, and since we feel every thought we think, you’ll feel better emotionally, too. That’s the magical combination that shifts how we show up energetically in the world, which allows better things to come to and through us. Ultimately, that makes it easier to help others reduce their stress, so it’s good for everyone.
